Serialul „Succession”, produs de HBO, a fost desemnat cel mai bun serial dramă la cea de-a 74-a ediţie a galei Premiilor Emmy care a avut loc la Microsoft Theatre din Los Angeles.
În pofida celor 25 de nominalizări obținute, producţia americană a trebuit să împartă lumina reflectoarelor cu fenomenul sud-coreean “Squid Game”, o radiografie întunecată şi violentă a exceselor capitalismului, în care personajele se ucid între ele în cadrul unor jocuri crude pentru copii, în speranţa de a câştiga milioane de dolari.
